Name on Express Entry profile ?

Hello,
I need a help regarding my name on the express entry profile.

I have my name GxxxxxxxT Singh on the GIven Name field on my Indian passport and Surname is blank.
So anyone can suggest me what should I write in First name and Last name fields while filling up an Express Entry Application? because these both fields are mandatory there

Write your full given name in Last name field.

I did not know about that and i put G×××××××T is my First name and Singh as my last name. What are solutions for this issue because i am not able to change it in my EE profile?

Do i need to withdraw my profile and resubmit it with correct name?

Or can i use any affidavit further?

I faced exactly same issue. I withdrew my application and resubmitted again.

Is there any effect on profile of file withdraw?

Do i need to mention there why i am withdrawing it?

While creating a new one, it ask for (Did you applied express entry before?) So the answer will be yes or no?
