Name Change Confusion

I've PR currently living in Canada i got married in Dec 2013. I want to sponsor my husband who is currently living in Saudi Arabia he is working there. We both are Pakistani nationals. I'm done with all documentation but the problem is his name on Saudi Resident Card is different than his passport which has been issued last year with a name correction. He already has applied for the name correction on his Saudi card. But that would take months. Can i just submit a paper along with the application that he has requested to change his name which is different from all other Docs. And the police certificate from Saudi has been made according to his Saudi permit card. Can i send my application with the name change request form or should i wait till his name changes.? although they would know its the same person since he has picture on his Saudi card . His name is "Wahab Zulqurnain Syed" but on Saudi Resident Permit it is "Abdul Wahab Sayed" which is totally different. Any help would be appreciated.

Its better to wait and send perfect application to avoid any confusion and it will be good that his all documents must show his current name.

Yes i mean to say you should wait till his name changed.

To avoid any complication I would suggest you to wait for it. But you said that you both are Pakistani. So is Saudi resident card is necessary for you to sponsor him?

But if you really want to submit the application RIGHT now, you can submit the current resident card and add a letter describing the mistake and also that you applied for correction, and if you have any documents or letters related to saudi resident name correction application, also attach that.

Yes its important to send because currently he is living in saudi and applicants living in another country other than their own cic requires a document showing their residency status visa
