Hi, I got married to a Canadian in January and I am taking his last name. I now want to apply for a new PR card to reflect my new married name but I am confused about the information given and the application form. It only talks about LEGAL name change which apparently is different from name change after marriage.
Question: Do I need to apply for a replacement card and send my current card with the application or do I apply for a renewal and keep the current card until I get the new one?
PS: my new German passport shows my new married name but also my maiden name.
