Hi everyone. IRCC sent me a letter ask me to provide some information in an email to let them create a Confirmation of Permanent
Residence document. "Name as it appears on your passport" was on the list. My surname is Liu, and Liangjun is my given name. So I sent it as "Liangjun LIU" in the email without checking my passport.
However, I found it appears as "LIU, LIANGJUN" on my passport just now. Should I send a correction message to IRCC? Or it's OK maybe they just need to know the surname and given name?
I really don't understand why I didn't check my passport at that time. I never paid attention to the name form on the passport. ..
