North American global Employment initiatives and Visa Services (NAGENVAS), claims to be a Canadian employment agency which recruits foreign workers to work in Canadian companies, especially in the hospitality, personal care and oil and gas industries due to the shortage of Canadians to work in these fields. They sent me an email saying they could facilitate for my employment in Canada no cost, all I hard to do was to send them my CV, fill in an online application form and pay $235 for a Canadian labor market opinion and employment validation. Can some one please advise me if this company is genuine or just a scam before I lose my money.
Sounds like a scam. You don't pay for the LMO - your employer pays for the LMO (and it costs less than $235). It's illegal for companies to charge money in exchange for getting you a job.
I'm guessing you're going to be out $235 if you go ahead with the process.
