This question is in regards to my Canadian girlfriend possibly working in the states under Chapter 16
I can't get a work permit in Canada so we are looking at options for her now in the states. I figure the rules are the same under Nafta in Canada than the states so this forum is as good as a USA one to post this.
She has a BA in Psychology from UBC and 6 years of experience as a case worker in group homes.
Will this translate to anything under chapter 16? There is a Social worker listing, but is that a strict social worker meaning or kind of an umbrella? Her experience as a case worker is very similar to social work, without the actual title or license however.
