Well at least we know where that is, I had to get a CNI letter from them on short notice thanks to KUA.

I got that two months before I even went there to marry my wife lol. They couriered it to my wife.

It's Indonesian marriage law bro.

KUA did make me take Shahada and get snipped though lol.

They did. I asked if I could get the letter from the Canadian Embassy equivalent in Hong Kong and they said it was absolutely okay and that any embassy would issue it.

They then later said you need to specifically get it from Jakarta.

So in essence they made me take two trips to embassies in two different countries and gave me incorrect information from the get go.

Well yeah lol THAT'S actually something that makes sense because of the Islamic laws they're using when it comes to family affairs.
