She can complete a program of study as long as that program's total duration is six months or less.
So she can complete a certificate that takes six months or less to complete (as an example). However she cannot take separate courses that are each less than six months but add up to a certifiate / diploma / degree that is longer than six months. If she wants to do that, she needs to switch to a study permit.

So to be clear, one six month course is fine. Several six month courses are also fine as long as they are in no way related.
If the several six month courses add up to a certificate / diploma / degree that is over six months in duration, a study permit is needed.

Hi
@scylla
I understand that if one need to pursue a program more than 6 months, study permit is required. In that case what will happen to the SOWP? Will SOWP become inactive/Void or both Study permit and SOWP will be valid and co-exist together?
If suppose, SOWP granted for 3 yers and Study permit only required for 1 year, then... Is it possible to revert back to SOWP?
