I got this message yesterday "
Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable)" I submitted over 60,000 Cad dollar proof of fund and my house documents with C of O, my purpose of visit is to attend my sister's graduation. I only intend to stay for 7 days

Was that the only reason for refusal? Are you single? Was the $60k in cash in personal bank accounts?

I'm married with two kids, that was the reason they gave
So spouse and kids were not coming with you and you showed cash only in personal accounts. If that was the only reason and not “will not return” or “no ties to return then Can you show your spouse’s bank accounts too? You are coming to Canada without family and spending a lot of money of your savings when you have a family to support.

I am not spending my life saving that's just a proof of fund, I stated it in my application I'll be spending 10k cad for the trip, my sister have taken care of accommodation with the proof of payment attached to the application

Sister’s support is not relevant. If you don’t want to show spouse’s funds or other saving then your choice. You were refused for funds so either show more money with more savings that you say you have or don’t reapply. Coming from IRCC not me.

Also I am not re applying because the graduation is coming up on 25th this month, I'm just curious about the denial.

Yes. Show that she can support herself if you are not in the country.
Please help me understand the statement below and what to do next
"• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable)."

Thanks

You didn’t show enough funds to IRCC. Order GCMS notes if you want to read the officer’s notes. You now have to list that refusal on any other visa application for any country.
