My visa was not stamp after they request my passport letter was sent by ircc, pls they send my passport back without stamping and without reason

My passport was return to me yesterday without stamping and given reasons pls what step can I take , I’m from Nigeria , I apply for visiting since 2021 they ask me to submit my passport last month which I did , to my surprised I find it not stamp and return , pls help me out
