yea correct waiting 4pr, You must approach CHC to explain your situation ( by e - mail & coverletter both )
To claim 5 points your master degree must be from public university.
BTW from which uni. you did M.com ? In India usually results are declared max by August. Give your timeline too.
Yes, moreover you can do the following:
- Send Notarized copies of all the documents that you have as proof of your having registered for M.Com alongwith the Cover Letter to VO (for example, your Admission Letter, Enrolment no. issue letter, Examination Entry Letter, Previous year Mark-sheets or any other documents etc.)
- I see that you have 14 marks in IELTS. Register for fresh IELTS and try hard to get 16. It will improve your case and also make your points OK (Inform of the better IELTS only after you have a better result. If you don't, then just be silent on this)
If your B.Com is of 2 years .. and same duration for your M.Com i.e. 2 years, This makes it 16 years of education which is entitled to receive 22 points. So you will get additional 2 points and not 5.
u should have told to vo that ur doing masters n willbe getting degree by october 2010. bcos that will add 5 points to ur education category.
even now i think u should inform vo immdly by sending the cover letter n estimated time frame to complete ur degree . i hope vo will definitely consider ur case.
seniors willbe more expereinced so lets wait for them to reply
Dude even i applied for pr without sending the ms degree intially, later i sent them a cover letter to vo they accepted and processed my case. seeing that i give this suggestion.
Dear waiting4pr,
This is exactly what PMM wrote. Once Priyanka has her completed degree with herself, she can have the extra points. As it is still some time away, she should try & get those extra 2 points from IELTS.
Once she get the same, she can send the results as an update with a Cover Letter. This way she'll be safe and she can also mention on the same cover letter that her additional qualification is also round the corner. This obviously will make her case stronger with those extra points.
Cheers!!
Unfortunately for all of us but Fortunately for you .. CHC Delhi is taking long time to process cases, by that time you would have your results and you can be sure to send the same before VO takes up your case. This will give you that extra points, also try to find out if you have any relatives in Canada which might act as favorable when deciding your case. All updates should be made with a covering letter - I guess you know this ..but just in case.
