i All Fellow Members,

Just want to share my good news with you all, today I checked my ECAS and it my wife home address have changed to my Canada Residence address and the status changed to "in process" 13-04-02

Here is my timeline after 16 months:

- Application received to CPC-Mississauga October 5, 2011. ECAS= Application Received
- We started processing your application on December 20, 2011. ECAS= Application Received
- File Transfer to Singapore January 5, 2012. ECAS= Application Received
- April 4, 2013. ECAS= In Process :-* :-*

The medical was done july 2011, so far 21 months. I just wonder if we should get another medical certificate before they ask for it... ?

I wouldn't. Because they can extend it themselves and then you'd be out of money for no reason.

Tks for your answer....
I saw that you can have an extension to your medical certificate... but I just want to make sure that we won't have anymore delay... It has been already quit a long time.... Another question for you.... my wife is living with me on a TRV in Canada since january 2013.... it is good till november this year... I just wonder what happen if Singapore ask for her passport to be send at their embassy while she is here in Canada. :'(

Can you clarify your dates...
On the Spreadsheet you have your application being sent on Oct 3/12, AOR rec'd Dec 15/12 and SA on Dec 15/12
It might help if the dates are correct for people following the spreadsheets :)

I think you should stick to this thread...

Congrats on going in Process :)

My question is just to help others understand the timelines from the VO.

No problem my friend... I just don't remember when I filled out the spreadsheets and I probably did it by memory... Sorry for that... just hope that somebody can answer me about my second question on this thread.. ;)

Hi
You will have to send your wife's passport to Singapore since she is here with you.
I would send a return envelope when you send.

Just did this it will explain in the letter when you get the ppr... i just sent her passport via ups with a prepaid envelope for the return. Other then USA customs holding it for couple days for who knows what it did make it back...

congrats on your update......do do the medical unless they tell you...they can give an extension on your medical record plus immigration dont like when you just go out on your own to do the medical but the police you can do that on your own and keep it until they are ready for it

Have they ever extended the medical? Looks like anything beyond 15 months and they make you do the whole thing again.

They extended ours.

How expired were they?

We got PPR the day they expired, and when we got the COPR, it was until Dec of this year (medicals expired Nov 16 2012)

But you got your approval before the 15 month mark right? Ours expired dec 2012 and our application has not even been opened yet. It's been in Manila since October.
