My son is US citizen and we have canadian PR

I have a question, Me and my spouse obtained Canadian PR and we did our Landing in March 2015 and applied our PR cards. we came back to US after 3 days.

Our baby was born in Nov 2015 in US and now we do need to relocate to canada.

- Do we need to file PR for our baby to move to canada?
- can he enter canada with US passport.
- Do we need to file his PR from US ( is it mandatory ) / or can be filed later from canada ?

- Yes.
- You can only file the PR application once you are in Canad.

And to add to scylla's post, there is no "inland" PR sponsorship for dependents. Outland is the only option. You can file outland application while child is with you in Canada. You just use Canadian address instead of US address in the application. You would also be required to maintain the child's visitor status while PR application is in process.
