I want to apply for Calgary University for September 2014 intake. But only MASc program is available. But competition in MASc is very tough. Is it of benefit of applying with the following profile.

BSC Civil Engineering

CGPA... 3.135

IELTS : 7.0

I haven't contacted with any professors yet. Nor I have any research paper. But I can attach a good SOP with my application. Kindly give your suggestions.
 
chances are low...but dnt give ur hopes up. what is minimum gpa written on the website of university of calgary?
