Just thought i would add my experience
My WP expired on May 30
I had sent a paper application before it expired so that I would be on Implied Status.
I got my positive LMO last week.
Instead of sending in my LMO with my existing application i decided to go to the border and start a new application. I have some work trips and we are going to Hawaii in August so I just wanted to get my WP right away.
CIC confirmed I could put in a new application but i would have to pay the 155 fee again. No worries.
I went to the Peace Arch armed with documents galore. All he asked for was my contract and LMO.....not even an application.
I was a bit nervous with this 4 year WP limit even though my Noc A is exempt
This will be my 3rd 3 year WP so I was worried they might give me a hard time.
He went out back, looked at my file and came back 10 minutes later with my 3 year WP
