Am I eligible to get a study permit for my son at a public elementary school? he is in grade one and I am divorced and I have got the sole legal custody
and I have got my PR.

Yes you are eligible...you can actually apply for sponsorship since you're a PR already.

Again, to echo the information in your other thread on the exact same topic, you will need the father's permission to remove your son from his home country.
