my lawyer has changed his address , still same building but floor has changed .
my question : should i update from my ECAS address update, am i allow to do that
OR
it is not mandatory

why are you worrying, your lawyer should do this as you are paying him.
anyways, you must send a Case Specific Inquiry to CIC about the new address.

Ask you lawyer to do it for you as they are your representative

I think you can go to your Ecas and change it
As long as you change its ok
Doesn't matter who change but as long as Cic have present address
You no need to worry as u can change yourself through your ECAS systme login
they give you option just below your current addresses where you can click and update.
Another thing is almost all of your communication with cic will be by email. so not a big issue
yet for safe side just change it. they are CIC lol...

What I understand he should change it or he can ask his agent to update it
