My IELTS expires on the 4th of July and my classes start in September, should I apply for Visa

I had applied to two institutions,the first institution rejected me by saying that my IELTS has expired as it needs to valid until the start of the the first day of session. The second institution accepted me and did not say anything about my IELTS. So should I apply with this IELTS or should I write the new IELTS test as there is still time left and apply for the student visa with the new score. Awaiting swift replies.
