My husband was charged with. DUI .before we applied for spousal sponsorship

My husband was changed with a DUI before we applied for spousal sponsorship,I’ve disclosed all this in the application .
We both pass the eligibility, medical and received pre arrival .
The case is still pending and the prosecutor is offering a plea but we are not taking .
The lawyer and every other lawyer I’ve spoken to said the case most likely will get thrown out .
Cause there is a lot of mistakes made ,
Immigration is now asking for the court papers ,police report and a letter to explained .
I am so scared ,I am all alone here in Canada and I was recently diagnosed with graves ,and migraines since i took the vaccine.

May I ask if they give a plea for careless driving instead is that a Good thing ?

The charge was in Canada . Don’t have an immigration lawyer . I did the application my self . Thank you
