Is anybody familiar with my situation?
My Work Permit expired Dec. 21, 2016 but I applied for change conditions, extend my stay to remain in Canada before December 21 along with the signed contract with my new employer.
MONDAY THIS WEEK: My employer received a letter that she was denied of her LMIA
THURSDAY THIS WEEK: I received notice that I am allowed to stay 2 months from now with Remark at the bottom of the paper is: TEMPORARY RESIDENT STATUS MAINTAINED. BRIDGE EXTENSION.
Can someone enlighten me with the remarks? Can I apply again for another extension or can I change my status from working visa to visitor or student visa? Advice from you guys is so much appreciated. Thank you!
