My fiancee's student visa was rejected, will there be a problem when I sponsor her PR under spouse sponsorship?

My fiancé had her student visa application rejected recently. I am a permanent resident with a steady job here in Toronto and we plan to marry soon, Post marriage I plan to sponsor her PR. Will her student visa rejection create problems with her PR application.
Will appreciate any inputs in this matter. Thanks in advance.
Provided that it wasn't refused for misrepresentation, it will not cause a massive issue. You will need to declare it (and all other refusals) and provide details as to why it was refused.
Thanks. No there was no misrepresentation, the refusal was on the grounds of not showing sufficient ties to the home country. In other words, they were not convinced she would return home after her studies. Actually, that's the reason for my worry, because in her application she said she would return, and now suddenly she would seek permanent residence as a spouse. It's kind of conflicting but there is no malicious intent or misrepresentation here.
