My extended family is willing to sponsor my accommodation throughout my stay in Canada. Would this ruin my chances of getting approved?

Just as the title says, my aunt and uncle are willing to give me accommodation/food during my stay in Canada. I am well aware that extended family sponsorships are not allowed unless I fit specific criteria. However, my preferred college is only 30 mins away from my relative's house. It's definitely more convenient, but will this raise some eyebrows to those who are checking my study permit application?
I personally think I have a good hometie that is owning a property in one of the country's summer capital but will that be enough?

I was under your same shoes but instead of aunt/uncle it was my parents and got approved a while back in my first attempt. You need be a little tricky and avoid highlighting your family ties in your application. It's very hard to overcome family ties but it's still possible.
This is the secret sauce, showing ties on your name will help drastically. Avoid highlighting family ties in the SOP and just stick to the usual explanations but don't forget to declare it on the forms where they ask for it. Extended family sponsorship is encouraged for study permit extensions but for S1 anything regarding family ties are looked upon a lot while making the decision.

the thing is i dont think there are any forms that will require me to indicate my aunt/uncles name as they are considered as extended family. My main sponsors will still be my parents but I dont think there's a form that'll allow me to put my relatives' name as they're not eligible for the lonely canadian program and his brother (my father) is still alive. But maybe I'm missing something? What is the code for the documents you're referring to?

Wait how is that well and good? If I can't include them in the forms, then I'll have to explicitly mention them in either my LOE or Proof of Funds (with supporting documents that they are my aunt & uncle). PS Im also applying through SDS.

Is it mandatory to submit the extended family member's, who is supporting you financially, employment documents, payslips, bank statements, even If someone pay the GIC, full tuition fee under sds. Note that the course duration is a year. Please advise on this.

Thanks Mate! so, submitting GIC, full year tuition fee is sufficient for a year program under SDS ? No need to mention/submit any financial documents about how I paid, who supported me and showing proof of additional funds for future.
