MY education does not match NOC "Employment Requirements"

Hi All,

I am planning to apply under NOC"21310 – Electrical and electronics engineers ". I have a bachelor degree in science "physics" in Canada but the NOC employment requirements requires:

• A bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering or in an appropriate related engineering discipline is required.

Would this cause a refusal to my application? Thanks

Not for Express Entry.

Applying under canadian experience class is considered Express Entry, correct?

Yes. There haven’t been specific CEC draws in years just open draws. CEC is included under open draws.

For EE, education doesn’t need to meet NOC. Read the CEC requirements.

Where I can find the Cec requirement page to verify education match is not mandatory

To be more technical in section R87.1(2)(b) states that we your employment needs to meet with Lead Statement, and R87.1(2)(c) states that you need to match with substantial number of Main Duties of you NOC set out in occupational description.
