Must Furnish Proof of Compliance - Visitor Record!!

Hello guys, I recently arrived in Canada and at the border The CBSA officer gave me 3 months VR and in the bottom of the document it says Must Furnish Proof of Compliance....
I understand why only 3 months because I didnt bring enough money to support myself here in the long run (3 thousands, waiting for the decision on my PR case)

2 month later IRCC ask for extra docs as Proof of Funds. I have gathered enough money and submit the docs. Now I want to extend my Visitor Record but I am wondering if I am allowed to stay until the decision is made on my VR? with such condition?

Any advice will be much apreacitted.

If you apply to extend your visitor status BEFORE your current status expires (even one day before), you will be covered under `Maintained Status', so long as it is not returned because of an error on your part. This status will remain until your extension application has been processed.
