Hi All,

I need urgent help. Last month I had submitted my Degree transcripts to WES which they rejected because it was not as per their requirement.
I didn't attest the mark sheet from Mumbai University. I am in the process now.

My issue is, I did diploma in 2001 and got direct admission to Degree (completed in 2004), hence I don't have mark sheets of 1st year of degree.
What should I submit instead of 1st year marksheet? WES is asking for it.

I am planning to obtain Diploma transcripts but I am not sure whether WES will accept it. Any idea what I should do? I read few post where somebody was talking about equivalence/authorization certificate, what is that? where to ask it from?

How to advise WES that Diploma final year marksheet can be treated as 1st year degree marksheet.

I have submitted same queries on WES portal as well but no response as of now. I called them to discuss but they said whatever document mentioned on the site should be presented. (i.e. 1-4 year of mark sheets).

I am very confused now. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Obtain sealed transcripts for both Diploma and Degree (instead of attested mark-sheets). Attach a photocopy of both diploma and degree certificate.
Write a cover letter explaining the case - They should understand how it works in India - between diploma and degree. They may not be familiar with it.

Before all this, I would still advise following up with the WES call center to get a direction from them.

Another alternative is contacting an experienced agent for EE and PR.

Yours is a peculiar case. I could only suggest these options as next steps.

Good luck!
