Multiple Entry Visa question

On the application form:
"Indicate how long you plan to stay in Canada"

If it's for multiple entry, is it the date of the initial visit that should be entered? My girlfriend wants the first visit to be 2 weeks.

duration of your gf's first stay. but i recommend she'll apply for single entry because if the officer decided to grant her a visa for just single entry though your gf requested for multiple, the officer will just refuse the visa instead of granting her multiple. so to make it safe just apply for single. i read it somewhere here..
