If I am here in Canada on a multiple entry TRV for the past 4 months, can I goto the Carribean (cuba, bahamas etc) on a vacation and re-enter Canada upon my return? Will this re-entering allow me another 6 months or will the 6 month duration stay intact from my initial entry 4 months ago?
Many thanks to anyone who can provide any insight!

It's really impossible for anyone to say for sure. If you're allowed into Canada and for how long is up to the immigration officer you encounter when you arrive.

So in essence what you're saying is that there no written rules for allow re-entering on a multiple entry visa? Outcome is dependent entirely on the border officer present? That is not comforting to say the least!
