Can anyone please tell me I applied from Canada under family support stream just a month back, so do they always interview the relative who supporting me or just randomly pick up applicant. Because the question they ask are already in the settlement plan part 2.

No there is no arrangement. They will just call your relative based on the telephone number that you have provided in your application. I cannot recall if it was done during office hours or after. The questions are quite basic like what is the full name of the applicant, how long have you known each other, when was the last time you talked to each other, etc. In other forum threads there is a more comprehensive/detailed list of what was asked during the interview that was posted recently.
I applied in MPNP General stream in dec 2010 and got my temp file number in dec 2011, My daughter and son in law sponsored me, my wife and my dependent children. I applied through snail mail.
The question :
Can my son apply though family stream (ONLINE) because this general stream is taking too much time but we don't want to quit it in the middle. Can my son apply though stream ? So he will be having 2 cases at same time. Is this possible ? He will have the same sponsors at same place.. Kindly let me know. Thank you.

I wonder why did you apply under General Stream as you are eligible to apply under Family Stream as your daughter is your sponsor ???
I think your son can apply online....but if you are confused than its better to ask them directly through email.......they reply back too quickly to clarify us.

I am planning to apply for MPNP general stream but I have concerns.
What if upon submission of my mpnp application my marital status is single and along the way I get married and wants my spouse to be my dependent and change marital status to married, what are the appropriate actions?
Please advice.
