Hello,

I got my LIA on the March 9th Draw and I applied for my EOI on March 3rd.

I have 2 doubts. The first one is, I studied Photography in Winnipeg and now I am working as a Videographer for a company in Winnipeg. Will I be eligible to apply under International Education Stream (IES) Career Employment Pathways?

The requirement is
1. Completion of Postsecondary program in Manitoba (min 1 year)
2. CLB 7 or higher (which I have)
3. Full-time job offer in an occupation that is CONSISTENT with the education I did in Manitoba.

So my doubt is, will a videography job after a diploma in photography be considered consistent?

Second doubt, if I am not qualified for the above pathway, then is it okay that I applied for my EOI 7 days before my actual 6-month completion at my job? I was under the impression that I only had to have my 6 months completed before I apply for the actual application after I receive my LIA and not before the EOI. I was being clever and trying to save some time by doing this. Since it was just a week, do you think it will be an issue? Should I apply or reject the offer and apply for an EOI again?
