moving to usa with canadian student visa

im going to canada on canadian student visa
but i have a plan to go to usa first stay ther fr 2-3 days and then fly to canada
is tht possible ....?

Yes that is possible, you just have file for a visitor visa at US Consulate. They will call for an interview. Chances are good as u have Canada visa they wont have prob in givin visitor visa.

and can we go to the usa for a holiday after we spend some time in canada? shud we get a visa for that purpose or is Canadian visa enough to enter usa?

Nope, You have to take visa for that as well, from the US Consulate in Canada....
