Moving to Canada with an open Work permit with my husband

Hi! My husband's company is sending him to Canada on a Work Permit. I have also received a work permit and am planning to look for a job once we reach there. My question is, in case my husband's company brings him back to India after six months or a year, do I need to come back with him? Or based on the fact that I will have my work permit, would I be eligible to stay back? I am looking for responses based on both the possibilities - if I have a job or if I don't get a job in Canada. Can my wife apply for SOWP simultaneously while I apply for my ICT work permit? Or do I need to wait for my work permit to come through and then she should apply?
