Hello! I'm starting this thread for anyone else in this situation. I soft landed in December and stayed with my husband for two weeks. The plan was to make the big move on March 29th, but this Covid-19 situation has delayed that until further notice. Is there any other soft-landers in the same or similar situations? I'm not too worried about meeting RO yet but I am really bummed. I'm hoping to make the big move in May, but I'm hearing scary news that this could last for months. If anyone else is in a similar boat, please post here! Maybe we can offer words of encouragement and realize we aren't alone, because it is a really stressful situation for many reasons.

FYI - you can still enter Canada. The travel ban doesn't apply to you. However understood if you want to avoid travel now due to social distancing, etc.

My parents were going to help me move and since they are not PR but simply would be visitors, idk if they'd be able to do that still. Also with my husband, I don't know if he'd be allowed into the US as simply a visitor at this point, he was also going to help me move. Also, yes to social distancing. I have Asthma so I'm in the risk group.
I'm facing a similar situation. I soft landed in Aug 2018 and returned the same day because of personal commitments. I could not get my PR card then. I decided to move to Canada for good this month and had planned to cross the land border with my COPR and passport - Can I still do this with the current/latest restrictions at the land border? Will this considered be as "non-essential" travel?
