Fellow members-
While I was in the US, I moved apartments frequently while I was studying there and unfortunately don't remember exactly from what to what date did I live where. I do remember all of my addresses though, but not the period of stay particularly. Is it ok to put approximate periods of stay??
Or do I leave the dates blank and mention in the cover letter that I don't remember exactly from what to waht date I lived where and provide them with each of the Apartment Complex Management Co.'s phone numbers (if in case they want to check with them).
Anyone in a similar situation??
please help.
Thanks
hi SBO.
one of my friend did a similar mistake. London CHC called him for interview, asked him very nasty questions about why he put the wrong addresses in the form.
i suggest:
1. write all address that u lived, in the form (as u said)
2. write the most accurate possible
month & year that u can think of in the form
it happened to me. i lived in so many addresses. but i tried to put the
correct month & year & it sailed past so far up to medical stage.
hope it helps..............

Really!? well congrats to you and good luck for the remainder of the process. But, did your friend ultimately qualify or was his case rejacted on the basis of this??
I'm going to try putting approx. dates and hope for the best!
Thanks for your feedback

unfortunatley he got rection letter. but not necessarily due to incorrect addresses but may be due to work experience problem. but the incorrect address issue really acted as a fuel for that according to my friend.
good luck & all the best.....................

Thank you and if anyone else any other comments, please let me know.
what about your permanent address? did it move every time u moved? like in banks, utility bills etc? I have read somewhere that if u have lived at particular place for less than 6 months it does not considered as residence. (it may be considered as temporary residence so you may omit it). please confirm with CIC guidelines.

In US... once you moved and change address you have to update your bank, mobile co. and utilities fr the previous apartment will be cut off and have a new utilities company in your new home address. Like in my case, got 3 apartments address for 5 years and still remembered the date of moved in & moved out. its quite diffucult if you are doing this for more than 10years & at the same time going back to your hometown in between.
You have to list all the addresses where you have lived since your 18th birthday (Schedule 1 Background/Declaration Form) . what you are saying is getting a FBI or police clearance is not required if your residency is less than 6 months in a particular place/country.
I helped someone once who had 25 entries for addresses. Some of them repeated as he moved back and forth. 14 of them were unique.
home - and how did you help this person?

Well initially helping him to understand the application process, then organising it neatly because he used other sheets of paper. Not unlike how people on here help others....except in person. Why do you ask?
Na, thought you had figured out the secret to dealing with too many addresses

nay, unfortunately not. i was just making a statement on how many places someone lived in.
