am sherin...from south india...my girlfriend got pr in canada.and we are planning to marry in the next year..the problem of mine is very disgusting.my mother(x) died when i was studying in 6th standard and after that my father got married to a new women(y),in all my certificates except the birth certificate my new mother(y) name is there in the place of own mother.i want to know,since am planning to move there in her dependent visa my birthcertificate is important?is there any other option??what i want to do to make it clear?it is the mistake caused by the neglance of my father for that am suffering now...my mothers death certificate and new marriage certifiacte affidavate will work out showing this is my legal mother now?or 10th class certificate is enough to show my proof of birth....the name in the passport and tenth certificate is same(both have y)..is that ok...please help
