More than 5 weeks still no reply for TRV (Chandigarh Consulate)

I applied for my Canda TRV on 24th May through Jalandhar consulate.File received at Chandigarh on 25th May 2016 however Till date its showing file is under processing. Timeline listed on website is 19 working days. Does anybody have any idea as to why its taking so much time? My approved leaves from current employer starts from 2nd of July. Dunno whether i should wait or request my employer to postpone my leaves as its 29th June already.

Anybody else facing same issue?

if chandigarh embassy takes more than 3 weeks u ll get visa,very good chances

I have applied for canada visitor visa on 23rd may(chandigarh),, no news yet.
Did you get your visa now or still waiting ?

How you got to know that current processing date is 10 May ?>??
as CIC says visitor visa processing time for Indians is 24 days

becoz one of my friend applied on 4 may and he received last week . If you do not believe send email to cic daily and even can move court that the processing time is 24 days and they are taking more time .case kar de
