We applied for a extension on my Husbands visitor visa so that we could have more time to get the paperwork needed to apply for citizenship. I received a letter telling me the extension has been accepted and received our new visa days later. Today I woke up and seen the 100 I paid for the extension has been returned to my visa? Anyone know why this would be??

Are you sure you didn't pay twice by mistake or pay an extra fee? Do you still have the receipt?
