Hi there, my mom is planning to visit my aunt in the US April next year. I told her maybe she can visit me as well here in Canada. I am not yet a permanent resident here, it's still in process. But my husband is a canadian citizen. I am wondering should my husband give her an invitation to visit us? although my mom will be the one to shoulder all her expenses except the food and lodging.
And I am also wondering, if she needs to apply TRV (Canada), should she apply in the Philippines or she can apply for a visa going to Canada in the US?
Better to apply for the TRV from the Philippines; your Mom won't be able to show ties in the US, she being a visitor there.
