Moderate in english

Hi,

I have submitted my application for canada migration and the embassy has requested for IELTS but without IELTS i have more than 67 points so if i write the exam in general module how much i require so that my application is accepted and starts processing?

Note:while submitting the application i have mentioned english as moderate in all three and not high?i have submitted the application on may.

can someone in this forum guide me?

Hi,
Moderate language skills for either official language, under IELTS testing you need to score 5.5 - 6.0, 5.5 - 7.0, 5.0 - 6.0, 5.5 - 6.0 for speaking, listening, reading and writting. CIC requires you to provide evidence through language testing. Good luck!

It will accepted only if your NOC under which u r eligible to apply does nt need top notch communication skills (english).. one of the examples is university professors 4131... they really need to score good in their IELTS otherwise VOs can reject apps even when they meet 67 point criteria.

ielts is must. Overall Band 6 or above is alright.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. The NOC falls under 2171,2172,2173,2174..... I have been offered an employement too and the points exceeds 67 and while submitting the application i have mentioned moderate in english that made me question whether moderate(english) is enough for processing or not?
