Hello! I just filled out and submitted my citizenship application online on January 3rd, but I realized I made a stupid error: I said that I had filed my 2021 taxes, except that I obviously haven't done that yet (I will do so in march as soon as I have all the necessary forms). Do I have to wait until I get an AOR to correct this error? How would you all go about fixing this type of error?
It’s okay to make honest mistakes! Submit a web form and acknowledge the mistake. You can attach a letter with your signature…
Thanks! I've submitted a web form, I'll try to remember to update this thread when I get a response
How was your application going on then? I made same mistake yesterday for 2023 tax. I said yes while I did not file tax for 2023 yet. Already sumitted the web form.
