At any rate: you can probably proceed to do whatever it is they asked, just attach a note or something ATTENTION name misspelled in letter from them. It will only be an issue if at end of process official docs printed wiht name misspelled (like the visa and/or copr).
You got a "PPR BIL" - passport request to stamp visa, and the biometric instruction letter, at the same time?
At any rate: you have to go back to embassy/visa application centre and get them to fix it. The letter you got with this when you got the passport/visa back probably said if there's any error you have to advise them. Do that.
Airlines probably would not let you fly with that.
Hi!
My friend has problem , there is mistake in spelling his name on visa label, it's typed mohammed instead of mohammad (e instead of a)
has he entrance problem to canada with this mistake on his visa?
What should he do?

I misspelt the surname of my Daughter while applying for Canadian Tourist Visa. I sent a request through IRCC Webform to correct the name and attached the passport for reference. The VISA is still under process. Will they accept the correction and print the correct name on the VISA?
