Mississauga proccessing time?

Hey I just wanted to know how long does it take for Mississauga case proccessing centre to email you back after receiving your application?

Could some of you who have recently sent and got a reply tell me how long it took you guys? Thanks.

I sent mine Dec 15 and kind of worried, I probably shouldn't be but just the though of my application getting refused bothers me.

normally people are getting first email in 1 week and sa approval in about 4 weeks but dont worry it was holiday time just be a little patient

If I get refused do they just send the application back without emailing me? Or anyone who applies whether they get accepted or not they receive an email? With like the File No. and stuff. thanks

they will only return you documents only if some important documents are missing otherwise they will accept the application and assign u a uci number and application number,and email u just stay calm and wait few days

Happy New Year All..

I have a similar situation here. I am a PR here since Dec 2015 and filed for Inland spouse in Sept 2016. Recieved correspondence acknowledging receipt(with UCI number) of application(s) on November 1, 2016.

I was informed by my lawyer that It would take another 1-2 months to receive his Open Work Permit. It's been 2 months havent received it. Very well reason in delay could be due to holidays.. but just curious and have fear of chances of rejection.

Just looking for some confirmation our case is going ok. I'm UK citizen living in Ont and working on closed work permit. My wife (we married mid July 16) is a Canadian citizen and we applied inland.

Applied for PR via spouse on 13th Oct.

Got AOR 0n 7 Nov SA has been in process since 6th Nov. PR part still says open but not started yet.

Sent off OWP app last week in Nov (I know I should have put it in with main app but heyho).

Our SA is a lot longer than others it seems, should we be concerned? I assume OWP will just arrive after 4 monthish?
