Missing Docs??? Sponsor Spouse...please help!

Hello all:

I really need some advice from some of the experts here! My application (my wife is sponsoring me) reached CPC Mississauga yesterday, May 27, 2010. Now, in additional forms (for India IMM 3904) it asks "how many passports have u had"? I have had 2 passports, however, I only send photocopy of my current passport. Now my question is....

1. Did I need to send copy of my previous passport? Will this make any impact of my app being delayed/sent back?
2. Should I or Can I send this information (only a few pages) via fax to CPC - Mississauga? - CAN I SEND INFO TO CPC BEFORE THEY START PROCESSING MY APP????

Perhaps, I'm just freaking out, however, it does say on the form "PASSPORTS"...what do u guys think??

What do you mean you have two passports?Two from two different countries, or you had to renew so, your considering your new one and old one are two.
They are asking if you hold passports from other countries, as well as canada if you dont then you have only one.

Iarblue is correct. It is really confusing question CIC.
My answer for this question was : One passport - which is the current one.
I made details of my expired passports in a seperate sheet and submitted.
You don't need to send photocopies of expired passports unless they ask for it.

Sorry for not being clear....My previous passport was lost/damaged...now i have a new one....should i have included that one as well???

No, if it lost stollen and you got a new one, it is already recorded that it was lost, stolen.Just include the new one.

If you lost your old passport of course you are not able to submit it, it's lost. (duh!)
When they asked for passports, they meant passports from the countries you have citizenship. If you are only Indian citizen, your current Indian passport will be just fine.

My previous passport was damaged, hover, it mentions that on new....p.s. old one had all my Canadian visa...but i guess they can look it up in their system!

Yes dont worry they are aware of your visas just send in the new passport that all.

When you get your passport request from New Delhi CHC, they will ask you to submit your passport and any expired passports. I would include a letter explaining that your previous passport was lost (even though you have a noted in your current one) and if you have a photocopy of the lost one, definitely include that as well.
