I just send my application forms and required documents to CIO sydney under cec, and a little bit confused about no. 11 document checklist, "Education/Training/Qualifications in Canada. is it still required to include my diploma from highschool and transcript of records from university that was taken outside of Canada? coz as far as i know, include only all study certificates etc. made inside Canada, I did not include my Transcript of record taken outside canada to my application. Will my application be returned to me? for that missed documents? Im confused some advice please... thanks
Yes, the section is confusing and is not clearly saying what education details they need. Just to be on safe side I have sent them everything for my education starting from my Secondary school certificate.
If you want to send your certificates now, what you can do is that, prepare a covering letter and state the reason why you missed to send these certificates earlier and request them to attach this to your application. Provide your full name, date of birth and the tracking number of your previous application package and also the date and time that application package reached sydney. This would help them joining your certificates to your application in case if CIC needs them.
Hope this helps. Good luck with your application!!
I highly doubt if they require any diplomas outside of Canada. Few of my friends have applied with just the University transcripts, and have recieved their PR already. The only catch is that they applied before Dec 31, 2011 ... not sure if the document checklist has changed since Jan 1, 2012 with the new process!
Btw. if you look at the Doc. checklist ... it says post-secondary ... which is essentially your university or college!
I believe no high school, A-level or IB certificate is required. But if you have studied in a University or College outside Canada as well as in Canada, then it is required.
thanks for the replies, but just to be safe i am sending copies of my highschool diploma and trancript of records from my university today via xpresspost with the cover letter just what torap said..just to help me out of confusion.. hope CIO will grant my request
