Hi there, I am currently on work permit right now and I plan to bring my wife and kids to CA. My kids are 4 years old. Do I need to have a letter of acceptance to apply for their study permit? If no, what do I fill in the imm1294 form?

You do not need a LOA for 4 year olds, just reasearch the schools in your province close to where you live and mention that school and add the wording "intended school of study" that should suffice.
