looks like child PR card is not accepted as identification, instruction guide says below.. but now schools are closed, what other document should we use? can I use OHIP card and passport? please let me know..
Both pieces of identification should show your child’s name and date of birth, one of which must have a photo on it.

In Ontario, you can ask the school to printout your child’s index card/page from the school record. It includes the child’s photo.
If the school can’t/won’t print it out, write a letter and include it with your application that you couldn’t obtain an ID with a photo and use the passport bio page and OHIP card.

My daughter is 12 years old and her passport will gonna expired soon this coming May. She has no ID with photo other than her expired passport. She has no school ID.
1. What other documents should we submitted that has no photo ID.
2. Can we still use her expired passport.

Oh, we did an appointment last March supposedly for the renewal but they all cancelled it because of Covid 19, We don't know yet when will the embassy will open next. And it takes 4 months at least before you received your new passport.
Yes we have health card but it has no photo.
Plan to submitted this ff documents for my minor kis.

2. Health Card
3. School documents.

yes OHIP and passport is enough . I applied with those last day. I called service Ontario to check wheather they have any ID for minor kids and they told me in Ontario ID only issued after 16 years of age, they told me passport is enough for citizenship. thanks
