Minor age 5 wants to study in Canada

Hi,

My sister's son is 5 years old now and we want him to study here in Canada.
How can he be here and how we can apply for him?
Also is it possible that his parents be here with him if he study here?

As far as I know, he needs a study permit.. Does he want to go to school in Canada as well? I mean he is only 5..

start by reading here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-minors.asp you would probably need to become formal guardians/ custodians of the child plus in the lower grades permits are pretty short.

The parents cannot be in Canada just because of the child they would need to apply for their own visas but there is no such thing as a parent visa to accompany a child on a study permit so options limited unless can qualify for a work permit.

Seems like a big thing for a 5 year old child to be in Canada possibly without their parents which might be the only option.
