I need to find out how much the minimum hourly wage is in order for my employer to get a positive Labour Market Opinion.
On CIC website it says “You must have been paid a wage (or earned a commission) but there is no minimum wage requirement for your qualifying work experience.”
But I was told I still need to find out how much I'm supposed to be paid for per hour to qualify.
My job title is Photographer (not self-employed, I'm with a company) and NOC code is 5221.
Thank you scylla.
My employer says it needs to be over a certain amount and even if it's $.50 below the minimum amount then the request will be rejected. I can't find anything that says that though so I'm a little confused. Is there really a minimum set up for each occupation?

Employers offering a wage that is below the prevailing wage rate will be considered as not meeting the labour market factor for the assessment of wages and therefore, will be issued a negative LMIA.
