I got accepted by Columbia College - Human Services Diploma
Study Permit - Online Application: July 14, 2014
Study Permit - REFUSAL: July 29, 2014
Refusal Grounds:
You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
- your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence
- purpose of visit
Other reasons:
- Proposed studies in Canada do not appear consistent with academic background

Payment Stubs from the last year
Property deeds
Notarized documents that show participation in family business
Reference letter from former employer - to show why I wanted to take a Human Services Diploma even though I have MBA
Reference letter from former university professor - to prove I am a good student
Statement of Purpose - 100% honest explanation of what I was planning on doing in Canada and why I wanted to take a human services diploma
Study Permit - 2nd application online: July 31, 2014
Study Permit - Original Passport request: August 07, 2014
Study Permit - Passport submitted through VFS Global: August 08, 2014
