Greetings for the day !!!

I am new to this astoundingly impressive and extremely helpful Forum.

Need help !! from the experts in shortlisting university for masters program.

Preferred Field of Study : 1. Engineering Management (OR) 2. Design and Manufacturing

Profile :
Work Exp : 2 years + Currently working with Bosch Limited (German Company)
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - 66.62 % (UPTU)
12th (CBSE) : 80 %
10th (CBSE) : 68.6 %
IELTS : result awaited (7.0 expected)
Projects done in B.Tech: 3 - mainly Design and Manufacturing of BAJA SAE VEHICLE (under Society of Automotive Engineers, India)
Technical Papers Written : 3 (two as 1st author, one as 3rd author)
Industrial Internship : at YAMAHA

Please help me !!! what are my chances for MEng in Engineering Management and which universities i should apply in.

At UOttawa, you will get in easily based on the profile of ppl who have got admission there this time

rahul u can get into ualberta. as we share almost same profile, except i have 3.5 years exp and 8.0 in ielts.

@IN_BLR and @vinit : Thanks guys for the feedback, i was really worried...

@vinit : did u apply in course based (MEng) or research based (MASc) at UAlberta ?? i think the requirement for course based is 70% + in bachelors and 65%+ for research based program.

and should i apply in preliminary application or give it a direct shot with final application.

Lot of people suggest contacting the professors directly by email. Do you think this is a good idea ??

I am in course based program. U need to send prelim app first. U cant apply directly without prelim app. For thesis based u need professor to guide u.

Hey did you apply for the course yet? I think what you have written here... you'll get into any of the three universities... I have an offer from MUN and waiting for uOttawa
