I am hoping to connect with all candidates who have applied for the Memorial University for Fall 2019 intake. If you are one with offers from the University or even awaiting a response to your application. feel free to comment, ask, and answer queries for those in need.
Looking forward to getting in touch with all of concerned.
You should have tried research-based option as I am sure you had that choice. Don't worry Memorial is inexpensive when it comes to tuition etc. I am sure you will survive easily. Don't give up on it.

I applied to Memorial University of Newfoundland. I applied for MSc Boreal Ecosystem and Agricultural Sciences.
I had a CGPA of 4.74 of 5.0 in my last two years and an overall of 4.47 of 5.0.
I also have secured prospective supervisor and I also mentioned his name in my application while submitting.
I'm yet to get a response from them as my status still state Application complete and ready for review.
What my chances of been admitted and getting funding please?

It totally depends on the quality of your application and that seems reasonable. You will have to wait for them to respond. They take a lot of things into consideration before making an offer. I am sure you will get LOA as you have supervisor confirmed up front. So, just wait for now and do your best to provide them any and all documents you are requested.
If you have applied in January this year then there are two possibilities:
1. Your application is considered but is in the waitlist. Meaning they have made initial offers and they will see if some candidate does not accept then they will call the backup. I am just assuming. This might not be the case. It totally depends on the Department you have applied to. My Department notified me on Feb 27 that I am accepted with funding.
2. The Department you have applied to is yet to undertake a review of all applications submitted for Fall 2019.
In either case, you will have a response soon as it almost mid-March.

I got a mail from my supervisor over the night and he said decision is yet to be made. Decision outcome would be sent out to applicants from March ending to mid-April.
